

I. Overview
The HxGN□—12(□R)/□ type box-type (fixed) metal-enclosed ring main switchgear (abbreviated as “ring main unit”) is a new type of high-voltage switchgear developed to meet the needs of urban power grid renovation and construction. In the power supply system, it is used for breaking load current and closing short-circuit current. This ring main unit is equipped with a vacuum load switch, and its operating mechanism is a spring operating mechanism, which can be operated both manually and electrically. The switch and isolating knife are equipped with a manual operating mechanism. This ring main unit features strong integrity, small size, no fire or explosion hazards, and reliable “five-prevention” functions.
II. Scope of Application
The ring main unit is suitable for AC 10kV, 50Hz power distribution systems. It is widely used in urban power grid construction and renovation projects, industrial and mining enterprises, high-rise buildings, public facilities, etc. As a ring network power supply unit and terminal equipment, it plays a role in power distribution, control, and protection of electrical equipment. It can also be installed in box-type substations. This ring main unit complies with the relevant provisions of IEC 420 High-Voltage Alternating-Current Load-Breaker-Fuse Combinations and GB 3906—91 3—35kV Alternating-Current Metal-Enclosed Switchgear.
III. Operating Environmental Conditions
1.Altitude: Not exceeding 1000 meters;
2.Ambient temperature: -25℃~+40℃;
3.Relative humidity: Daily average not more than 95%, monthly average not more than 90%;
4.Locations free from conductive dust, corrosive gases, and water vapor;
5.Locations free from fire and explosion hazards;
6.Locations free from frequent severe vibrations.
