II. Structural Description
The KVs series cable distribution box is designed for outdoor use with a fully sealed structure, and the cabinet protection level reaches IP33. The cable joint bracket is made of stainless steel, and the shell is made of 2mm high-quality stainless steel plate. The interior of the box is divided into a busbar compartment and a cable compartment by the top plate of the cable compartment.
The busbar compartment is a sealed chamber enclosed by 2mm steel plates. The cable joint bracket is located at the upper part of the busbar compartment and is used to support the bushing, which in turn fixes the cable joint. The phase-to-phase distance of the cable joint is 180mm. For the type with an arrester, the arrester is installed at the tail of the cable joint. In addition, the short-circuit indicator and live-line indicator are also installed in the busbar compartment. All live parts in the busbar compartment are strictly insulated with outer silicone rubber coating. The cable compartment is located at the lower part of the busbar compartment and serves as a channel for cable entry and exit. Inside the compartment, there are cable fixing clamps and grounding terminals.
